Adding a signature to your posts

I just found out how to do this today and it's so easy. Here's the link of the blog where you can find the instructions on how to do it, :)

P.S." Don't worry if you don't see it at first, it will show on your next new post. I did it a little different from the post there, I used my own image and replaced the direct link with the link from the image I saved at Photo Bucket. "

Dad and Mom fish

Last weekend we went to the Nature's center and as we were walking around we stopped to see one of the tanks with fish in them. Already there standing by the tank were some college students. And all of the sudden Lindy steps in front of them and starts explaining to them that the fish in this part of the pond are the kids, and that the Mom is taking a nap, and the Dad is not here "see, because he is at work." Then they asked her where the dad fish worked and she said that it worked at a restaurant. The college kids were very polite to Lindy and maybe a little impressed at her ability to make up fish stories. I guess you can say that she's not a very shy kid, :).

Boise in the Spring

Well, Spring finally found its way to our part of the world. And to show you how very beautiful everything is, here are some pictures that I've taken during our walks at the green belt by the river.

These are from the Temple's garden. It's like tulip heaven there, :)

And last but not least, my tulips. Last fall I planted them in our front yard with the Girls trying to help. Well, this is the fruit of our labor. These 2 are the first ones to bloom. :D

Best Friends

Yesterday we had Chevelle and Spencer over at our house. They are Lindy's best friends. And this Spring they get to go to Preschool together.

Easter Sunday

Sunday we had an exciting Easter. We had the Trexlers over for dinner and I am so thankful that the ham turned out really well and the girls behaved as well as can be expected. We didn't get a good picture of Lindy and Bianca in their Easter dresses together, but the one above was a pretty good one of Lindy, but then she took off and refused further shots of her.

Here is a happy one of Bianca.

Another egg hunt. With the prospect of candy it is hard for the girls to get tired of any activity.

After the egg hunt Lindy, Alli and Bianca colored eggs. It was a messy experience but fun.

Egg Hunt at the park

People from Devonshire have had an egg hunt both Easters since we moved in. This year instead of doing it spread across the front yards, we had it in the park in the center of the subdivision. The girls had a lot of fun.

Here is Lindy reaching through some playground equipment to get one of the plastic eggs filled with candy.

Lindy got quite a haul!

Bianca is thinking "how do I get all that candy in me?"

Bianca grabbed Alli Trexler's basket and was walking around with both of them.

It's hard to keep your eyes open with the sun right in your eyes, but the picture sure is nice.

After the egg hunt was over, the girls stayed and played at the playground and with the Trexler's dog, Lucy.

Apple Trees

This past weekend we planted 2 apple trees in our backyard. They are semi-dwarf so hopefully we'll get some apples in about 2 or 3 years. Digging the holes was not so bad, except for one spot where the ground was still frozen.

After the planting Lindy and Bianca got to play outside for a long time.

Who's Cron? by Dustin

I had a conversation with Lindy yesterday that I thought sounded like a stand up comedy duo routine. We were talking about what I did at work and she asked "Daddy, where do you work?"
To which I responded "Micron."
She asked "What's Your Cron?"
"No Lindy it isn't My [pause] Cron, it's just Micron." I said laughing.
"Oh," she said sounding like she understood, "but which one is your cron?"
This went on for about 10 minutes at which point my gut hurt from laughing and Lindy still thinks that I have a cron where I work.

Long and boring Winter

Well, Spring is almost here, at least on the calendar it is. This has been a very long and boring Winter for us because of the lack of snow. Don't get me wrong we've had very good precipitation but in the form of rain, well at least Boise has. And when it is cold you don't want rain but snow, "you" meaning ME and I think I can speak for Lindy too. So, I'm praying for snow or Spring to come soon. Today we went to Lindy's favorite park, the one with the Dinosaurs or like it's supposed to be called the Municipal Park. I forgot the camera but I used my phone to take a couple of pictures.

Where's Lindy?

As I was editing the pictures that I have taken lately, I realize that I only have a few pictures of Lindy and a lot of pictures of Bianca. It's not that I don't want to take pictures of Lindy, but it's hard to take a picture of someone who doesn't want to cooperate, and is always moving around and looking the wrong way. Anyway, here she is showing me the pumpkin she colored (She is getting very good at not coloring outside the lines).

And here are a few shots of a typical moment when I want to take a picture of them.
