Great websites for Freebies

Look and you shall find. And Oh boy! did I look for more websites with scrapbooking freebies. But I am glad to report that it was worth it. This is my new hobby: digital scrapbooking, and I have to say thank you to Dana for getting me started. I always thought scrapbooking was cool, however is seem a little pricey, and you need to have room to store all the stuff. But with digital is a different world, you just store it in your computer and there's so many freebies, that is great. So here's a lits of some of the sites I found.
Digitreats, Nana's Attic, Random Scraps: Sparking It!, scrap loisir, Stone Accents: Freebies, Scrap Chic Studio :: SCS Freebies, Un petit coin de Scrap
A lot of the sites will have ads for other sites and that's how you can find more. I hope you like them, and have fun!

A break in the weather

After a very stormy couple of months, we finally get a break. Last Tuesday it got to almost 50 degrees. It was a beautiful sunny day. We even made it to the park two days in a row. A lot of our neighbors were taking advantage of the good weather too and we got to visit with a few of them while the kids were playing at the park. On an interesting note, out of five neighbors there, four of them are members in our ward. Some people even joke around saying that instead of Devonshire our subdivision should be called Mormonshire. :) We love it! It's a great place to live.

Out of the mouth of Babes

A few of days ago Dustin and the girls dropped me off at the salon so that I could get a haircut, and you know how they style it for you and stuff, well when they picked me up from the salon Lindy was asking me about it, I think this was the first time she even notice that Mommy also gets haircuts. And so as it usually happens, the styling didn't last for very long, so Lindy comes to me and says: " Oh no! Mami your haircut is gone", and she starts patting me on the back. Dustin and I just started laughing. And she still thinks that my haircut is gone. :)

Dustin's Birthday

Today we got to celebrate Dustin's Birthday. It was fun to make the cake and to have Lindy bouncing around the kitchen because we were going to have cake. We had a good time celebrating with Dustin, even if it was only for a little while, since he spend most of today either at work or sleeping. We appreciate him very much. He's a great husband and a super dad. What can I say, we love the guy. :)

This picture doesn't have anything to do with Dustin's birhtday, but I just wanted to share a shot of my beautiful valentine's day flowers. Dustin usually gets them for me a few days before the 14, and since I love flowers, they are welcome any day. :)

We're going to AZ!

Abish's mom is having bladder surgery on the 21st of this month and will be incapacitated for a few weeks. Because Ivan and Alexis will be in New Mexico by that time, Liliana will be working Sis. Valdez's business and Sis. Valdez's siblings are all busy with their lives, we get to step in and help her out for a while. We will all drive down Saturday the 23rd and probably arrive Sunday night. After which I will fly back to Boise and work two lonely weeks and fly down again to help Abish drive back up. We are excited to see everyone!

Hello everyone

It's more than a week now since my last posting, but I have a good excuse. Last Tuesday I woke up with a sore throat and than came the stuffy nose and the cough. And on top of that the girls got the little bug too. We are starting to feel better now, but the cold and snowy days sure don't help. Anyway, on a lighter note, I love how Dana has done her blog, so I decided to give photoshop a try. I'm using the free trial one and so far it's good, even though it's not easy, especially with my little ladies, actually it feels rather good to be typing with both hands right now, instead of having Bianca in one arm and trying to type with the other. Oh, by the way is 5 in the morning and all is quiet in the Allen household. Well I'll write some more later. Take care everyone.
