Visiting Salt Lake

This past weekend we decided to take a Mini-Vacation (you know taking advantage of the cheap gas prices) ;o), and we end it up in Salt Lake. Our hotel was adjacent to Temple Square which worked out perfect for us. We got to see the Conference Center, Brigham Young's house, the Joseph Smith building the Planetarium and rode the train. The pictures are very low resolution because our camera is broken. Of course we didn't realize this until we were in Temple Square. At least we had our phones to improvise.

Anything with water attracts Lindy like a magnet.

This is how we kept Bianca entertained. She loves riding in the backpack.

On top of the Conference Center. We were amazed by all the trees and flowers growing up there.

Riding the train was one of Lindy's favorite things.

All of the Church history sites were great, but not exactly Lindy's fare and she was complaining loudly until we got to the Planetarium where she decided that she didn't want to go home anymore.

The Zoo

This past Monday as our family activity we went to the Zoo. It was such a nice day to walk around and enjoy seeing the animals. The Zoo is a bit small, especially if you compare it to the one in Phoenix, but Lindy loved it and we all had a good time.

The penguins were our favorites.

Bianca was so good, she stayed in her stroller the whole time.

Toothless no more

Finally Bianca's bottom teeth came out, well they're only half way out, but is definitely better that no teeth at all. She is so interested in everything we eat that if she had more teeth she would probably be eating what we eat by now. Here are some pictures of her.

Another milestone is that she can sit by herself.

She loves to eat fruit from her food net.

And here she is cruising around in the walker

The weather has been so nice that we are able to enjoy our backyard.
