Well, it's been a long time since I made a post and I guess it's time to update you on what's going on in our lives. First I want to say that my Dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer a few weeks ago. Since than he's been in and out of hospitals and such. He had surgery this past Wednesday to have his prostate removed. It was a long surgery but everything went well. Today he got to go home. At this point I'm not sure what the next step will be, but we are glad it has gone well so far.
Also, we are very glad and thankful that Dustin has a job. It's something completely different from what he was doing before, with the exception that it still has to do with semiconductors and he works for Micron. He says that is a good job and he is happy and that he feels a little more like an engineer now. And another very good thing it's that there will be no more night shifts. His schedule is from 7 to 4 M-F. It might change a bit in the next few months but it still won't be nights.
Lindy is growing and learning so much. Her favorite thing to say or should I say ask is "What is this?" and her other favorite one is "How do you spell it?". Who knows she might be in the spelling bee contest someday. She loves going to Pre-school and playing with her friends. Another thing that is growing is her wish list for Christmas. Some highlights are a real pony ("with like real legs," she told us), a motorcycle, and a guitar, Oh! and let's not forget a costume for Dad (a pilot's costume to be exact) Got to love our Lindy.
And there's Bianca, who's walking and becoming more independent everyday. She loves to get into all the drawers and the bathroom whenever possible. So far she has manage to throw only one thing in the toilet. She has 8 teeth and 2 coming. She loves to be out and about. She know when we're getting ready to go and she won't let go of us. She's our funny smilling baby. That's another of her things, she loves to make you laugh.
Now this is Dustin with an update about Abish. She has given a lot to her scrapbook page designing and although it is not too lucritive, a lot of people like what she does. Even more so around the house. She keeps this place running in top shape even though her two girls and husband aren't all that much help. We love her bunches.
We are exited for the holidays. We'll be home for Thanksgiving Day and then in Arizona for Christmas. We are counting the days and planning our trip. Well, that was our update for today. We will try to make the next one soon.
